Two Year Olds Talk Back

For the 12hundreth time today, I asked Lydia to stop dragging our puppy around. Lila was tired of being dragged around, and was putting her mouth on Lydia. But Lydia does not interpret doggie signals very well and instead of letting go of the dog's collar she just cries and holds on tighter!

I finally said, "Lydia, seriously, let go of her! She doesn't want to be with you right now!" In a voice full of whine and on the precipice of tears, Lydia replies, "But I want her good dog and it's my birfday!" whine, whine whine.

No, it's not her birthday.
