That skeleton key hangs next to the doorknob! And really works! Someone said it probably works for all the doors in the house. Haven't checked yet, but I'll let you know!
If you ever had a house with this kind of a latch, you know you lived in the country. I love it, too! I don't know what it is with me and doorknobs with this house. But just wait, I've got more to come!We enlisted the kids' help in taking down the wallpaper. . . . They had a blast!!!

Marvelous! My boys like tearing off wallpaper, too. Sometimes they get a little ahead of themselves ("No, we're not doing the kitchen until next month!").

I love, love, love the house! I understand your doorknob fetish...not too many houses these days have those type of doorknobs with all the history behind them. I can't wait to see how y'all fix up this beauty! (a little Texas vernacular for you there) And as for the twin, I am going with Luke...
