Claire: Mommy. . . . Mommy, you have some gray hair.
Me: Yes, I know.
Claire: But. . . .Mommy, why do you have gray hair?
Me: Cuz, I'm getting older.
Claire: Mommy!! You are not!! Is this an April Fool's?! You don't really have gray hair, do you?
Me: Yes, darling, I really do have a few gray hairs right there. But I'm gonna take care of them, don't you worry.
Claire: (silent pondering, bordering on absolute unbelief)

ha! I'm right there with ya 'cept that my kids aren't a bit surprised with all my gray hair.
What a cute response from her.
Oh, that is just so precious. Even now I am surprised when I see my mom "taking care of" her gray hair. Ageing is a very weird thing. I found a couple in my dark black head of hair and boy do they stand out!
That's what you get when everything else is different colors on April Fools' Day!
